What This Does

Compare any mix of campaigns side-by-side on the Reports page — lead volume, revenue, cost, profit, margin, acceptance rate, and return rate. Useful for vertical comparison (MVA vs slip-and-fall), multi-geo performance (TX vs FL), A/B testing distribution methods, and seasonal performance analysis.

Setup

  • Open the Reports page in the dashboard.
  • Click Compare Campaigns.
  • Select 2-10 campaigns from the picker.
  • Set the date range to compare over.
  • View the side-by-side metrics table.

Common Comparison Scenarios

ScenarioSetup
Vertical performanceSelect MVA + Slip-and-Fall + Truck Accidents — compare per-vertical margin
Geographic performanceSelect Texas MVA + Florida MVA + California MVA — find your strongest state
A/B test (distribution method)Select Campaign Round Robin + Campaign Priority (same vertical) — measure which method drives higher profit
Seasonal year-over-yearSelect Q4 2025 campaign + Q4 2026 campaign — compare YoY performance
Channel comparisonSelect Meta Ads campaign + Google Ads campaign + Affiliate campaign — measure blended channel performance

The Compare view normalizes metrics — comparing a 1,000-lead campaign against a 50-lead campaign on absolute revenue is misleading. Use Profit per Lead, Margin %, and Acceptance Rate for fair comparison across volume differences.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many campaigns can I compare at once?
Up to 10 campaigns per comparison view. Beyond 10 the table becomes hard to read — for higher counts, export to CSV and use a spreadsheet pivot. For continuous monitoring of many campaigns, the main Dashboard's grouped view is more efficient than running Compare Campaigns repeatedly.
Can I compare campaigns from different verticals?
Yes — compare any combination of campaigns. Useful for cross-vertical decisions: should you double down on PI or expand into home services? Comparing MVA + Slip-and-Fall + Roofing on Profit per Lead and Acceptance Rate gives you the data to decide. Field mappings differ across verticals but core metrics are universal.
Does Compare Campaigns include returned leads?
Yes — return rate is a comparison metric. High return rate signals lead quality issues or buyer-side intake problems. A campaign with high revenue but high returns may be less profitable than a lower-volume campaign with clean delivery — Compare Campaigns surfaces this trade-off.
Can I export the comparison to a PDF for a client deck?
CSV export is supported; PDF export is not yet shipped. For client decks, export to CSV, paste into Google Sheets or Excel, and screenshot the visualization. Native PDF export of the comparison view is on the Reports Center roadmap.
How is the date range applied across campaigns?
The same range applies to all selected campaigns. For year-over-year comparison (Q4 2025 vs Q4 2026), you'd need to select campaigns from different periods — Compare Campaigns supports this if the campaigns are still active in the dashboard (deleted campaigns drop from the picker).
Can I save a comparison configuration?
Bookmarked URLs preserve the comparison setup — campaigns selected, date range, metric set. A named-report save feature is on the roadmap. For now, share comparisons by URL or via CSV export.
