Customer acquisition cost is your total sales and marketing spend over a period divided by the number of new customers acquired in that period. The formula is CAC = (Sales + Marketing Spend) / New Customers Acquired. Use the calculator above to compute your own in seconds.

How do you calculate cost per lead (CPL)?

CPL equals total ad spend divided by total leads generated. If you spent $5,000 on a campaign and generated 100 leads, CPL is $50.
