Jobber Integration (Through Zapier)
Send Lead Distro AI leads and booked appointments into a contractor's Jobber account as a new client and request, using a webhook and a Zapier Zap. Setup steps, field mapping and FAQs.
What This Does
Many home-service contractors (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, remodeling, lawn care) run their business in Jobber. This guide sends each lead you deliver to one of those contractors straight into their Jobber account, as a new client with a new request. Nobody has to type the lead in again.
It uses the destination's Webhook delivery and a Zapier Zap that is signed in to the contractor's Jobber account. Lead Distro AI does not connect to Jobber directly yet.
What You Need
- The contractor set up as a destination on your campaign.
- A Zapier account on a paid plan. The Webhooks by Zapier app this uses is a Premium app.
- A Jobber account on a plan that includes Zapier, and someone who can sign in to it as an admin when Zapier asks.
Step 1: Start the Zap
- In Zapier, create a new Zap.
- For the trigger, pick Webhooks by Zapier, then the event Catch Hook.
- Copy the webhook URL Zapier shows you.
Step 2: Point the Destination at Zapier
- In Lead Distro AI, open the campaign and click the contractor's destination to edit it.
- Under Delivery Method, turn on Webhook and paste the Zapier URL.
- Save, then click Send Test so Zapier receives a sample lead.
- Back in Zapier, test the trigger. You should see the sample lead's fields, such as
first_name,phoneandemail.
Step 3: Create the Client in Jobber
- Add an action step: pick Jobber, then Create Client.
- Sign in to the contractor's Jobber account when Zapier asks.
- Fill in the client fields from the lead, using the table below.
| Lead Distro AI field | Jobber client field |
|---|---|
first_name | First name |
last_name | Last name |
phone | Phone |
email | |
Your campaign's address fields (for example address, city, state, zip_code) | Property address |
Field labels in Zapier's Jobber step can read a little differently from this table. Your campaign's own fields (the ones in its field mapping) arrive under the same names, so use those for anything beyond name, phone and email.
Step 4: Create the Request
- Add another action step: pick Jobber, then Create Request.
- Choose the client created in Step 3.
- In the request's details, add what the customer needs (for example your campaign's service or project field) and
lead_url, a link the contractor's team can use to open the lead. - Turn the Zap on.
Jobber adds the request to the client's first property. If a client has more than one property, the request goes on the first one.
Booked Appointments
When the lead booked an appointment on your Lead Distro AI calendar, the webhook also carries appointment_time, the start of the booking as a UTC timestamp (for example 2026-10-21T17:00:00.000Z). Add it to the request's details so the contractor sees when the visit is. A Formatter by Zapier step can turn it into the contractor's local time first.
The Zap does not put the visit on the Jobber schedule by itself. The contractor's team schedules it from the request.
Test It
- In Lead Distro AI, click Send Test on the destination again.
- In Jobber, look for the test client and its new request. Delete both when you are done.
