Skills your assistant knows
Skills are step-by-step playbooks your connected AI assistant loads by itself for one kind of job: onboarding a Destination from an IO, ping-post, pay-per-call, fixing a delivery, building, changing or improving a funnel, Meta cost per lead, reports and audits. They work in every assistant and need no setup.
Nothing to set up. If your assistant is connected to Lead Distro AI, it already has every skill, on every plan.
A skill is a written procedure for one kind of job: which tools to call, in what order, and how to prove it worked. Without one, your assistant has to work out the steps on its own. With one, it follows the same tested path every time, and it checks for the mistakes that most often break a setup (for example a Destination that answers in XML, or a delivery that counts every reply as a sale).
How to use them
Ask for the work the way you normally would. Your assistant reads the list of skills, picks the one that matches, loads it and follows it. You can also ask for one by name.

Suggest a test.If a skill needs a permission your connection does not have (for example, a read-only API key and a skill that creates things), the assistant tells you before it starts. Widen it in Settings > MCP & API.

Open Settings > MCP & API > Skills. Each card says when the assistant uses it and which tools it calls, and View instructions shows the full playbook word for word.
