Build a Dashboard with Your AI

Describe the dashboard you want and let your AI build it inside Lead Distro AI. It picks charts, KPI tiles and top lists from the dashboard's own widgets, shows you the plan, and saves it for your whole team.

Try: "Make me a dashboard called Client Review with my accepted leads, cost per lead by week, and my top 10 Sources by profit." Your AI shows you the widgets first, then builds it after you say yes.

You do not need to build your own reporting tool to see your numbers your way. Your AI assistant (the one built into Lead Distro AI, or Claude connected to your account) can build dashboards for you. It uses the same widgets you can add by hand on the Dashboard page, so the numbers stay live and match the rest of the app.

What you need

  • The Customizable Dashboard feature turned on. An admin turns it on under Settings, then Labs.
  • An AI connection that can edit campaigns. A read-only connection can look at your dashboards but not change them. To connect Claude, see Connect with Claude.ai or Desktop.

What your AI can do

  • Create a new named dashboard, blank or from a starter template.
  • Add widgets: lead, call, appointment and funnel KPI tiles; custom charts of any metric as a bar, line, pie, number or table, grouped by day, week, month or a lead field; top lists of campaigns, Sources or Destinations; a US map by state; and the ready-made Profit & Loss and financial tables.
  • Pin a widget to certain campaigns or dates, or let it follow the dashboard's filters.
  • Change a widget's settings, title, size or position, or move it off the dashboard into the widget library.

Step by step

  • Tell your AI what you want to see, for whom, and for which campaigns.
  • It reads the list of widgets your account can use and turns your request into widgets.
  • It shows you the dashboard name and each widget. Say yes, or ask for changes.
  • It creates the dashboard and adds the widgets, then checks that they saved.
  • Open Dashboard and pick the new dashboard's name in the menu at the top. You can drag and resize the widgets there.

Dashboards are shared by your whole team. Your AI builds on a new dashboard unless you name one you want changed, and it asks before changing a dashboard someone else uses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my AI add any chart I describe?
It can build anything the dashboard's widgets can show, and those cover leads, calls, appointments, funnels, costs, revenue and ad spend. If it asks for a setting a widget does not support, nothing is saved and it tries again with one that works.
Can it delete a dashboard or a widget?
No. Removing a widget moves it to the widget library, where you can bring it back. Deleting a dashboard is done by you on the Dashboard page.
Does it run any code inside my account?
No. It only picks widgets and fills in their settings. Every change goes through the same checks as a change you make by hand.
Will a teammate who cannot see money get money widgets?
No. If a teammate's permissions hide financial data, their AI does not see or add widgets that show money.
