Supplier Portal

Give your suppliers a self-serve portal in Lead Distro AI — ingestion logs, cost-tracking visibility, API Specs, and supplier-side reporting separate from the buyer-facing Client Portal.

What is the Supplier Portal?

The Supplier Portal is a self-serve interface for your suppliers — separate from the buyer-facing Client Portal. Suppliers can view their ingestion logs, see their own cost-tracking and payout numbers, access their API Specs page with copy-paste curl examples, and (with the right permissions) manage their own caps and integration settings.

Useful when working with external lead vendors or affiliate partners who need visibility into their own performance without seeing your buyer-side margin.

What Suppliers Can See

  • Ingestion logs — every lead they sent, with timestamp, accepted/rejected status, and rejection reason if applicable.
  • Their cost / payout — for Fixed and Revenue Share cost modes, the total they earned in any date range.
  • API Specs — their dedicated endpoint URL, required fields, payload examples, and webhook signing details.
  • Caps status — current usage against their daily / weekly / monthly / total caps.
  • Pause / unpause (with permission) — they can pause themselves if their upstream traffic source is having issues.

What Suppliers Cannot See

  • Your buyer list, buyer prices, buyer caps, or any buyer-side data.
  • Other suppliers in the same campaign.
  • Your account-level revenue, margin, or P&L.
  • Lead Distro AI's billing or plan tier.

Enabling the Supplier Portal

  • Open the supplier's detail page.
  • Click Enable Portal.
  • A separate Clerk organization is created for the supplier.
  • Invite the supplier's contact (or team) to their portal org via Clerk's invite flow.
  • They sign in at the same domain and are automatically routed to the supplier portal view.

Supplier Portals share the same authentication mechanism as Client Portals — separate Clerk organizations linked to the supplier record. A single human can be a member of multiple supplier portals (across multiple agency relationships) from a single Clerk identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Supplier Portal different from the Client Portal?
Client Portal is for buyers (clients receiving leads) — they see leads, performance, and returns. Supplier Portal is for suppliers (parties sending leads) — they see ingestion logs, their payout, and their API specs. Two different audiences, two different views, both white-labeled.
Can suppliers pause themselves from the portal?
Yes if you grant the permission. Useful when the supplier's upstream traffic source has a known issue and they want to pause briefly without contacting you. Default is pause permission off — enable per-supplier as needed. Pauses are logged in the supplier timeline.
Can suppliers see how much each buyer paid for their leads?
No. Suppliers see their own payout (calculated from their cost mode) but not the underlying buyer prices. For Revenue Share suppliers this means they see the % they earned but not the buyer's full bid — protecting your buyer-side pricing model from being copied by the supplier.
Does the Supplier Portal work for multiple suppliers from the same vendor?
Yes. A lead vendor running 5 separate supplier accounts in Lead Distro AI (e.g., one per traffic source they manage for you) gets 5 separate portal orgs — their team can switch between them via Clerk's org picker without re-authenticating.
Can suppliers download a CSV of their ingestion logs?
Yes — the Ingestion Logs view supports CSV export with the current date-range filter applied. Useful for suppliers reconciling against their own systems (e.g., comparing their CRM's send log against Lead Distro AI's receive log).
Is the Supplier Portal included in all plan tiers?
Yes. Both Client Portal and Supplier Portal are platform features available on every plan tier — they're not a paid add-on. The number of portals you can enable scales with your account; there's no hard cap.
